The West High School Alumni Association
was proud to introduce the 2006 Hall of Fame Honorees at Magly Field.

The Library was filled with alumni and friends meeting the honorees and their families. Refreshments were provided by The Kitchen Lounge (owners Dana & Rob Maccabee '89), Pure Imagination Chocolatier (owner Daniel Cooper '91), and desserts by Lynn Doty.
Honoree Michael Redd '97 only got about four feet inside the door before there was a line of autograph seekers. The committee provided 8x10 pictures of Michael for signing. Some brought a variety of programs, basketballs, and hats for signing. Michael was very gracious to everyone, signing autographs and talking until we needed to move to the Auditorium for the official introductions.
Several alumni gathered around the Alumni sales table where hats, shirts, cup holders, etc., were available for sale.
The Redd family - dad Wes '74, 2006 Hall of Fame Honoree Michael, Michael's (new) wife Achea, his mother Haji, grandmother Redd, and aunt. Unfortunately, his sister, Michelle, was running late and did not make it in time for the picture.

It was a warm evening. The cheerleaders were in shorts and T-shirts.

Although it is difficult to see him, West continues another tradition of having a male cheerleader in the squad. He was very good and helpful with the lists.
