| Friends of the Hilltop website | This site is sponsored
by the organization Friends of the Hilltop. The group was founded in 1995 to ". . . foster a sense of community, thereby encouraging reinvestment in the community, and ultimately in the reemergence of the Hilltop as a respected, powerful part of the great city of Columbus, Ohio." Visit it to see what is happening in Hilltop U.S.A. today. An annual membership fee is $25 at the Corporate level, $15 at the Family/Group level, and just $10 at the Individual level. Meetings are on the 2nd Thursday of each month (except Jan., July, and Dec.) at the Hilltop Library, 511 S Hague Ave. For information call (614) 871-8962. |

Cooper '91 spoke at the October 2006 Alumni Association meeting. He sells

| Jim Remington's book website | Jim Remington
'46 Jan. has written a great book about the volunteer advance work he
did for Presidents Ford, Bush, and Reagan in the 70s and 80s. It is called
"Advance to History" and is available on Amazon.com. Jim had 42 assignments
over 13 years with eight of them in foreign countries. He wrote about
the humorous events that happened to these famous people. It is not about
policy or politics. All the proceeds he receives from the sale of the
book are donated to the National Foundation for Cancer Research in honor
of his wife who died from cancer in 2003. |

| Jackie Cornwell's website | Jackie Cornwell
'73 writes under the byline of J. M. Cornwell and is a contributor to
several 'Chicken Soup for the Soul' and 'Cup of Comfort' anthologies,
among others. She is also the author of numerous articles and book reviews
for Authorlink.com and her first solo novel, Past Imperfect, was
published in July, 2009 by L&L Dreamspell. She keeps several blogs
online and invites you to read some of her work online at the Red Room.
Jackie lives in Colorado Springs after spending the intervening decades
of traveling around the country. |
| Justin Tynne Fields website | Justin Tynne Fields '06 is an Alumni Scholarship recipient. He was in the Choir and Ensemble and is proud to have studied music under the direction of West's highly acclaimed (and now retired) music director Phil Wallace '72. After graduating from West, Justin attended Capital University to study vocal music education. Having worked with computers since his early teenage years, in college he discovered his true calling was working with computers as a vocation. He has transferred to Columbus State Community College and is studying computer software development. We have added Justin's web design portfolio as a link on our website. Justin hopes to reconnect with former peers and faculty. |
